Extra skating sessions for Sure customers
Within minutes of Sure customers being offered half-price
skating sessions at this December’s Sure Skate, a number of the
sessions had sold out.
Sure sent text messages to its customers earlier today offering
them the chance to book two half-price tickets for one of nine
different Sure Skater sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
between 12th December and 4th January.
“We were overwhelmed by the response and a number of the sessions
were quickly sold out so we have taken the decision to add five
extra sessions where Sure customers can also use a unique code to
order their half-price tickets,” said Sure’s chief executive Eddie
Saints.
Sure is bringing Kyran Bracken’s Ice Rink to Market Square for four
weeks over Christmas and New Year. Tickets went on sale for all 195
public skating sessions, which can each take 100 skaters, at the
start of October and 23 sessions have also already sold out.
“We are delighted that Guernsey has been so enthusiastic about this
wonderful event. It’s going to bring a little bit of magic to the
island and we can’t wait to share this experience with the
community,” said Mr Saints.
Tickets can be booked in advance at http://www.sureskate.com/ but will
also be available to purchase at Sure Skate on the day. The extra
Sure Skater sessions are at 7.40pm on Saturday 12th December, 5pm
on Tuesday 22nd December, 7.40pm on Tuesday 29th December, 3.40pm
on Saturday 2nd January and 7.40pm on Monday 4th January and anyone
who has already booked for these sessions will be unaffected. Sure
customers need to use their unique code in order to book their half
price tickets.
